Mecklenburg County in North Carolina has no patience for cyberattacks. And they proved that when they recently refused to pay $23,000 in ransomware.

According to an article from MSSPAlert, county officials refused to pay the ransom and experienced additional cyberattacks. Fortunately for Mecklenburg County, those attacks were unsuccessful.
