AppRiver celebrated its 14th year anniversary this April, and throughout the month, employees are highlighting core values in the workplace and what it means to be an “Apper.”
If you’ve visited our offices lately, you may have noticed more and more people walking. That is not only due to the lovely Spring-like weather, but also our internal wellness program, FitRiver.
All AppRiver employees were divided into teams in order to compete against one another in fitness challenges. Using FitBits for tracking, it’s fun to see which team is out-stepping the other on weekly “weigh-ins.” This program encourages a healthy, active lifestyle for employees and offers new hires a chance to meet the company veterans.
Besides maintaining healthy lifestyle, employees are also encouraged to exhibit the following core values on a daily basis:
- Deliver Phenomenal Care in a personal way,
- Check ego at the door,
- Make excellent work a default setting,
- Do the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do,
- Lead from the front,
- Do what you love, love what you do.
Anyone living up to an AppRiver core value can receive recognition from their peers for a job well done.
